At Foresters, you can expect an experienced team of professionals who provide a fun, nurturing and friendly environment. We provide opportunities to learn throughhigh quality teaching and play. We encourage children to explore, learn at take risks. Learning through play takes place both inside and outside throughout the morning. We respect each child’s individuality and work alongside parents to give children a sense of confidence and belonging. We support children to build a growth mindset encouraging perseverance, resilience, and independence.
Parent partnership is paramount and we provide regular communication with parents through use of Dojo for sharing the children's learning and communication. We offer regular feedback through parent consultations and a summer term end of year report. In addition, we greet each child as they enter nursery with a friendly smile, we provide quick feedback to parents on a daily basis as required.
As part of Early Years curriculum, we nurture each child’s individual strengths, focussing on key skills including communication and language, building
relationships, sharing and taking turns, developing gross and fine motor skills, counting, recognising numbers, enjoying stories, rhymes and action songs, exploring mark making, being creative and finding out about the world around them.
