Leaders make sure that pupils’ personal development is prioritised. Pupils are taught how to stay safe and healthy
Welcome to Foresters Primary School
Foresters is a small, friendly well resourced, primary school. We have 12 classes including a nursery and children come to school aged 3 and stay with us until they are 11. We have a large committed staff with many years of experience.
The school is very lucky to have 4 classes where children with autism are taught and they not only contribute to the caring ethos of the school but bring in resources and expertise that helps support children in the classes.
We are committed to a ensuring our children achieve high standards in all areas of the curriculum whilst ensuring that the school takes notice of and adheres to all national and local policies and guidance in regard to Safeguarding Children and Young People.
Please come and have a look at our school and see it for yourself.
Foresters Primary School is a member of the Sutton Education Trust.

Equality Information
Foresters is a place to celebrate difference and we thrive on our ongoing diverse community. We celebrate difference and through our highly inclusive environment recognising everyone as individual but also as a member of the school and wider community.
Children at Foresters are supported through a thorough PSHE curriculum and school community that champions each individual.
Foresters believe that together we learn, enjoy and achieve.
At Foresters we;
- aim to provide stimulating challenges in an atmosphere where pupils experience success and enjoyment.
- through an established PSHE curriculum; support individual learning and wider opportunities to explore their world around them.
- aim to provide a happy, caring and supporting environment through understanding and responding to life opportunities.
- aim to create a sense of belonging for all through consistent approaches to learning and self-discipline, recognising effort and achievement and celebrating success in our school community.
As a school we welcome our duties under the Equality Act 2010.
The general duties are to:
- eliminate discrimination,
- advance equality of opportunity.
- foster good relations.
We understand the basis of the Act and the work needed to ensure that those with protected characteristics are not discriminated against and are given equal opportunities to flourish and succeed.
We celebrate diversity throughout each school year in our classrooms through general day to day learning opportunities and through:
- Black history month
- Anti-bullying week
- Display
- The curriculum which celebrates diversity across subject areas
- The reasonable adjustments that we offer children to support their learning
