Dramatherapy at Foresters School
The 4 days dramatherapy service is provided by Roundabout (Registered Charity 297491). Deborah Haythorne, Tricia Gannon, Xav Fontenille and Catherine Gibson, four of Roundabout’s dramatherapists run sessions at Foresters School. Children and young people are generally referred to dramatherapy by staff at the school. Parents and carers are contacted prior to dramatherapy starting, to seek permission for dramatherapy to begin. Also to offer an invitation to meet with the dramatherapist before and after the therapeutic intervention. Children and young people are then assessed by the dramatherapists and offered weekly sessions. The dramatherapists work closely with staff at the school and are invited to contribute to annual reviews and write reports on the work as requested.
